Welcome to the Environmental Review Team Website. The Connecticut Environmental Review Teams (ERT)are a group of environmental professionals drawn together from a variety of federal, state, regional and local agencies to form multidisciplinary environmental study teams to assist municipalities in review of sites proposed for development or preservation. The ERT operates under the guidance of the Eastern CT and King's Mark Resource Conservation and Development Areas (RC&D). The ERT is a public service that serves all 169 Connecticut towns free of charge. Eastern CT ERT serves and 86 town region and the King's Mark ERT serves an 83 town region. The mission of the ERT is to be available to help assist towns, especially those with limited resources, in meeting the challenges of development and preservation by providing information needed in order to help make these important choices.
